Montgomery County does not have TB as part of clinic services.
We are working toward IGRA testing in Erie county by September/October 2019 per CDC guidelines. At the present time we are using Tubersol which is still available and not in shortage.
Niagara County has updated our procedures.
Oneida County is awaiting guidance from NYSDOH in relation to the new CDC guidance on TB serial screening. Oneida County has not encountered any problem with Aplisol shortages to date.
We use Turbersol and do not have a problem obtaining the solution. We presently have 123 does and are ordering 10 doses per month. We are maintaining compliance to NYSDOH Regulations (NYCRR Title 10) so there is no need to amend our policy.
Westchester County DOH-CSN is approved by SED to administer a Special Education Itinerant Services Program (SEIS). We employ Special Education teachers who provide direct SEIT services in typical nursery school, day care and home settings.
Chenango County has not yet updated our procedures based on the new CDC/DOH screening recommendations.
Saratoga County does have a procedure that we develop whenever we have a shortage, such as this. I would be happy to send our procedure if anyone would like to see it.
