Learning Outcome:
As a result of participation in this activity, the learners will increase and enhance knowledge and competence on adult immunization recommendations and strategies to increase immunization rates.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the Standards for Adult Immunization Practices
- Identify 2 Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommendations for influenza vaccination
- Identify 2 Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommendations for PCV20 or PCV15
- Identify strategies to engage adults in sharing Health/Immunization Data
- Recognize how Immunization data is Bi-Directional Exchange with Healthcare Organizations.
- Recognize the vaccines that can be administered by pharmacists in NYS.
- List the elements required for NYS pharmacists to administer vaccinations
- Recognize the importance of HPV vaccine as related by a personal story from HPV Cancer survivor.
