Rockland/Westchester Adult Immunization Coalition Meeting

Join fellow immunization champions on October 9, 2024 at the Westchester Marriott for an opportunity to engage with experts, share insights, and collaborate on strategies to promote adult immunization.

Schedule: Registration/sign-in opens at 8:00 am and the welcome remarks will begin at 9:00 am.

Fees: There are no fees to attend this event. Morning coffee/tea and lunch are included at no cost to attendees.

Criteria for Successful Completion: Learners must attend 100% of this activity to be awarded full continuing education credits/ contact hours.

Learning Outcome:  As a result of participation in this activity, the learners will increase and enhance knowledge and competence on adult immunization recommendations and strategies to increase immunization rates.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss adult immunization coverage rates for NYS.
  2. Describe emerging immunization issue.
  3. Explore opportunities for improving maternal immunization rates.
  4. Describe the emotional and public health impact of vaccine-preventable diseases using personal narratives as powerful tools to advocate for increased adult immunization rates.
