Lunch, Learn, Immunize Webinar: Building Trust with Young Adults – Strategies to Increase Vaccine Confidence and Uptake

November 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join us on November 23rd for  Lunch, Learn, Immunize Virtual Series with an engaging discussion on building trust and strengthening vaccine confidence among young adults. This webinar is open to all adult immunization providers in New York State, including healthcare providers, pharmacists, public health professionals, local health departments, health systems, and community-based organizations.

Young adults often receive health information from a variety of sources, making trust and effective communication critical components of vaccine decision-making. This session will explore practical strategies for engaging young adults, addressing common concerns, combating misinformation, and fostering confidence in vaccines through authentic and meaningful conversations.

The webinar will be led by Judy Klein, President and Founder of Unity Consortium and a nationally recognized healthcare and vaccine industry leader. Judy Klein has dedicated her career to advancing initiatives that improve public health and protect communities through vaccination. Drawing on her extensive experience in healthcare, vaccine policy, and health communications, she will share insights on building trust with young adults and the role providers can play in strengthening vaccine confidence. Judy Klein holds degrees in Economics from The Wharton School and Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and was recognized as the 2018 Enterprising Women of the Year.

Additional perspectives will be provided by Madisen Stearns, Outreach and Development Intern at Unity Consortium and MPH candidate at Columbia University; Rezwana Habib, Outreach and Development Intern at Unity Consortium and MPH candidate at Columbia University; and Zachery Lang, Public Health Outreach Intern with Families Fighting Flu, whose work focuses on addressing vaccine hesitancy among young adults.
