Are any counties currently using Tyler Munis financial software for health department permitting, licensing and fee collection, and if so, how does it integrate with Ehips? If you are not using Munis, was it ever considered and if so, what were the reasons why it was not utilized?

County:
Livingston County
Response:

Livingston County as a whole began using the Tyler Technologies ERP financial system earlier this year.  We use it for processing invoices, purchase orders and more recently contracts.  It does not interface with eHIPS. Beginnog in 2020, will use time tracking developed by Venesky Group, venesky.com as a result of the new A.6 reporting requirements. We will discontinue time entry into eHIPS but continue to use it for facility data and processing permits. The Venesky group is A.6 savvy and the time entry program they developed, trackwithjack.com is intended for use in A.6 claims.

County:
Genesee/Orleans Counties
Response:

We do not use Tyler Munis financial software in either Genesee County or Orleans County. As far as I know, it was never considered , because we have not heard of it before, or we are just vaguely familiar with the name.

County:
Monroe County
Response:

We are not using Tyler Munis, and have not considered it as far as I know. We are using different systems: For time accounting (state aid) we have a custom MS Access Database to track who spends what time in which program; for billing and fee collection, we have a custom web-based system developed by our County IS department (just launched this year to replace QuickBooks); for permitting, we use a separate MS Access databases for each program, which allow document merging for letteres and permits.

County:
Madison County
Response:

Madison County is not. It was never brought to our attention that it could be used.
