Has anyone done a recent assessment of the state mandates that govern LHD work? We will be starting our strategic planning process in January and would like to conduct an assessment of or state mandates; however if someone has done this already, we would love to get a copy.

Working on the recent CHIP, we made a rough estimate.

The EI takes our department’s 70% of the budget. Adding other mandate programs unfunded and underfunded, including the recent blood lead level reduction, we estimate the state unfunded and underfunded occupies 75% and above of the department annual budget.
