April 2013 reconciliation and state reimbursement for el provider claims submitted for processing…

To COHs/DPHs: The EI Fiscal Workgroup will be meeting via conference call next week and prior to sending issues to BEI, wanted input from other members regarding the reconciliation of NYEIS claims submitted before 4/1/2013.

Has your county reviewed the spreadsheet of claims provided by BEI and either a) Already been compensated or b) submitted the verification claim?

If not how are you managing this new request to validate and accept the claims data provided by BEI?

Please respond by 9 a.m., 11/15/19 if possible. The county workgroup members are trying to identify if concerns they discussed on the call regarding the verification process are broad concerns, or limited to a handful of LHDs/counties.

HRI Funding Barriers

NYSACHO is working to compile a comprehensive list of barriers related to HRI contracting, billing and reimbursement. If your county experiences difficulties with HRI that are not included on the attached list, please reply back to Alexis Hariprashad (alexis@Nysacho.org) with the specific examples you wish to include.

Once compiled, we plan to bring this to HRI and DOH leadership to communicate our concerns and try to alleviate some of these burdens. Please respond before 5pm EST on Tuesday November 12, 2019.

Opioid overuse prevention and Interventions

NYSACHO has been invited to submit testimony/participate in an Opioid Prevention Roundtable event sponsored by the NYS Senate Overdose Taskforce on November 15, 2019. We are preparing testimony and would like to highlight some of the successful LHD activities/interventions. If you have something you’d like to share regarding your opioid overdose activities, please share with us by Thursday, November 7, 2019. Please reply all to this email. We’re only looking for a short description, or if you have an existing write-up or press release you can share, we can draw from that for the testimony.
